Any Lower 6 student can solve this problem, you may get a 2 bonus marks for your topical test.
TRY this :
The mean and median of the areas of 100 mining pools are 1.523 hectares and 1.325 hectares respectively. On checking, it was found that a pool of area 5.323 hectares had been incorrectly recorded as 3.523 hectares.
Based on the new information, determine the mean and median area of the pools.
Answer :

Oklah ailin, don't be sad....
The answer for median is 1.325 hectares.
coz the actual value for 5.323 hectares and the incorrectly record 3.523 all are greater than the median 1.325.....therefore it didn't affect the median, so answer still 1.325 |
